The Junior League of South Bend, Inc. is proud to announce its continuation of the Kids in the Kitchen program.  KITK is a program that has a goal of addressing the growing epidemic of childhood obesity by educating children on how to live healthy lifestyles. In conjunction with National Nutrition Month, the program will take place on Saturday, March 27 from 9a.m. -12 p.m. at Stanley Clark School in South Bend. 

Children ages 5-10 are invited to join us for a morning full of fun while learning healthy eating and lifestyle habits!

The event will feature exciting learning stations:
• Learn how to prepare tasty & healthy snacks
• Plant-a-Veggie
• Fun facts about dental health
• Group exercise featuring Jazzercise & Zumba
• How to shop on a budget (for parents)
• Sugary Drinks, the real truth
• And more!

Help us support the Diaper Bank of Michiana - we will be accepting diaper donations at the door!

The Diaper Bank's primary role will be to implement an organized collection and distribution system for diapers of all sizes. Additionally, the Diaper Bank will engage the community by raising awareness through education and by encouraging diaper drives, creating stakeholders in the Diaper Bank and its mission. Most importantly, augmenting the supply of diapers to partner agencies will allow the agencies to focus on the business of serving their clients, not collecting diapers.

Admission is free. Pre-registration required.  Registration deadline is March 24 and is limited to the first 175 children.
