Thrift Shop

Now in its 83rd year, Thrift Shop is a one-day sale eagerly anticipated each year by shoppers for the quality of merchandise that can be purchased at very low prices including clothing for the whole family, toys, books, sporting goods, kitchen items, linens, electronics, home décor, holiday items, antiques and collectibles, furniture and much more! In addition to the gently-used merchandise donated by members of The Junior League of South Bend, Inc., local merchants help make our sale a success by contributing discontinued and surplus inventory to our cream-of-the-crop department, which is one of our most popular among Thrift Shop customers.  The location this year is at the Century Center in Downtown South Bend.

The proceeds from our sale not only support Junior League training opportunities to ensure that our members acquire the education, skills and experience needed as leaders, but they are also invested in Junior League's portfolio of programs designed to both address current community needs and create lasting impact. Following the sale, local nonprofit agencies are invited to select from any remaining merchandise free of charge for items to benefit their clients or organization. Any items not selected are donated to a local resale nonprofit agency.

In addition to Thrift Shop, the Our Towne Truck Pull hosted by the South Bend Education Foundation will also take place in the Century Center parking lot. Don't miss either of these exciting downtown South Bend events that benefit our community's children.
