Find the Good Day 2025

JLSB joined leagues around the world in celebrating Find the Good Day, an initiative of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI).

In honor of this day, our members showed up across South Bend to support families, children, and community partners in meaningful ways:

• Our Community Council cooked and served warm, homemade meals for families with children receiving care at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana.
• Our Communications Council rallied support by collecting and donating more than 3,000 pantry items and travel‑size toiletries, with generous help from the Morris Inn at the University of Notre Dame, Cultivate Food Rescue, and The Goddard School.
• Our Membership Council spread joy by painting and placing kindness rocks throughout local parks.
• Our Fundraising Council shared gratitude by writing heartfelt thank‑you notes to first responders, as well as staff at RMHC and Reins of Life.
• Our Board and Nominating Council rolled up their sleeves at the CASIE Center, helping to ensure the space was clean, welcoming, and ready for families.
• Our Sustainers spent a meaningful afternoon reading with children at the Robinson Community Learning Center.
